Originally from Hawaii, Reannon has lived and worked all over the world. She is taught English in New York City and in Tokyo, Japan and has studied and volunteered in Austria, Germany, Nepal and Guatemala. She loves to travel and learn new languages. Currently, she speaks German and some Japanese and Spanish and is working towards getting her masters degree in
linguistics. When not busy exploring the world, Reannon enjoys writing, hiking, camping and singing karaoke
Wil Hatcher
  Wil grew up in Las Vegas, where he became involved with a Japanese language company. Following his interest in Japan, Wil moved to Tokyo, where he taught English for 3 years. While in Japan, he completed his BA in Legal Studies. He has been teaching at IAE since his return to the United States in 2009. He enjoys traveling, teaching, and snowbarding.
Grete Roland
Grete has taught English in Germany, Mexico, Norway, Turkey and the United States. She enjoys learning languages and about language. She studied Philology at the University of Oslo, Norway and at the University of Munich, Germany. She received the M.S. degree in Applied Linguistics from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She has enjoyed teaching students from many different countries and learning about their countries and cultures. Desiring to learn more, she pursued the M.Ed. in Multicultural Education and went on to research minority groups across the globe for the Ph.D. in Comparative International Education. For the latter she spent several years among native Americans in the United States and the Sami of Norway, Finland, and Sweden. She spent some years as an actor and has written books on how to teach English through the Theatre Arts as well as through Multicultural Education. Besides her involvement in language and culture, she enjoys taking care of her granddaughter, dancing, singing, and swimming.
