Zenon Dembitsky

Zenon, a teacher with ten years of experience, taught in Japan and Italy before coming to IAE. He has a BA in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in ESL. An avid reader, writer and surfer, Zenon uses a dynamic teaching style that motivates both his students and fellow teachers.

Elisa Kreisberger

Hi, I'm Elisa and am one of the teachers at IAE. My BA is in Speech Language Pathology and I worked for several years in New York City as a therapist. After doing that, I decided to move to Israel, which was so wonderful I stayed to live there for 8 years. During my time there, I worked as an ESL instructor for a large international school, was promoted to educational manager of one of the school's branches, and finally, created new curriculum to begin teaching Business English on site at many companies to both large groups and VIP students. I returned to the U.S. this past December, however this time to the west coast. I have received my TESOL certificate and am very happily teaching students from all over the world at the La Jolla campus of IAE.

Brian has been teaching English for the past 7 years. A native Californian, Brian has worked with foreign students in the United States as well as in Germany and Switzerland. He has worked with the Dresdener Bank, the Bank of Berlin, Sony, Vivendi and several other large firms. Additionally, he has taught for and administered the Cambridge Advanced and First Certificate exams. Brian received a BA in English and Spanish from the University of California, San Diego and is a fully credentialed teacher of English, ESL and Spanish. He uses an approach to language learning which emphasizes grammar and vocabulary development through speaking and reading activities.

Kathy Kenyon

A graduate of intensive UCSD ESL Teacher Certification Program she also holds BA degrees in Art History and Art Studio.  An artist, she continues to exhibit both nationally and internationally, most recently in Mexico and in Japan.  For the past several years my work has been evolving as an increasingly intimate metaphor of a changing self.  With a passion for poetry, her favorites include Mexican poet Octavio Paz, Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda and Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
