The International Academy of English provides
eight levels of instruction from
Beginning to Advanced. Our mission is to
provide international students with English
language instruction of the highest quality.
Our approach gives students the opportunity
to improve reading, writing, grammar, conversation,
pronunciation, TOEFL, TOEIC, and Business
English. The International Academy’s
stimulating and productive learning environment
is well suited for preparing our students
for continued success in their future personal,
academic, and professional pursuits.
Both campuses are also equipped with computer
centers that have the latest in interactive
multimedia software to enhance individual
language learning.

LOCATION: IAE campuses are located in the most exciting cities: San Diego, La Jolla and
Las Vegas. Our schools are in high tech
business areas that allow easy access to
several American Corporations for visitation
and internship.
SESSION
DATES: English courses begin
every Monday.
ENGLISH
LANGUAGE PROGRAMS:
Intensive
English I
- 18
hours weekly
- Monday
through Thursday.
- Listening,
Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar
are taught at each level.
- Elective
classes are also included: Idioms, TOEIC,
Business English, Current Events, Vocabulary,
or Conversation.
Intensive
English II

30
hours weekly

Monday
through Thursday.

This
course combines the morning classes
of the Intensive I program with afternoon
or evening classes to maximize language
learning.
TOEFL
Preparation –
This course prepares students for the
TOEFL examination test. A TOEFL score
is internationally known in the English-speaking
world and is a must for enrollment in
colleges and universities.
STUDENT VISA I-20:
An F-1 Student Visa is required for full-time
study in the United States for all of our
full-time programs. Our school is authorized
under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant
students.
MEDICAL
INSURANCE: All students are
advised to have health insurance. Health costs
are the sole responsibility of the student.
CERTIFICATES:
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion
of your program. Good attendance is an important
part of certificate eligibility in all programs.
