John Tucker Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer
John Tucker has over 25 years of management experience in large complex teaching institutions, both in medical schools and higher education administration. He has worked in both patient care and medical administration at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City, and at the City of Hope in Los Angeles. Most recently John worked in senior management positions for 16 years at three major University of California campuses, including UC San Francisco; UC Santa Barbara, where he served as Assistant Chancellor; and UCLA, where he served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Academic Senate, the governing body for over 3,000 tenured and non-tenured faculty. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance from Pace University, New York City. Sarah Granby is an experienced ESL teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. She studied Economics at NorthwesternUniversity in Evanston, IL and spent the year after graduation in Spain teaching English. She has also worked for multiple non-profit organizations and at one time owned her own small business teaching English and Spanish at local companies in San Diego. She enjoys salsa dancing, traveling and corny jokes.
Victor Teixeira Site Director - Marketing Specialist
Victor Teixeirais fromBrazil, and helps to manage the Las Vegas East Sunset campus office. He has been at the International Academy of English since April, 2008. InRio de Janeiro, Victor
taught English at several schools while pursuing his international business career in the Sales and Marketing Department of Sheraton Hotel and Suites. Victor works with campus office operations, administration, and advises students on immigration issues, taking vacations, and school policy. Students can contact Victor by calling or visiting the East campus office.
Kaylyn joined the IAE staff in 2010 as the Associate Site Director for the East Sunset Campus. She has lived in both Canada and France and started teaching English while living in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. While pursuing her Master Degree in International Business in France, she taught English to all different ages levels. She is very excited to be a part of IAE international community and share her love for culture and language. She advises students on immigration, school policy, and attendance. She enjoys traveling, watching movies and listening to music.
As an Administrative Intern for IAE, Samuel assists withoffice tasks, marketing and provides translation services. Samuel is from Sao Paulo, Brazil and graduated with a degree in Accounting. Samuel decided to come to Las Vegas to study English and enjoys singing.
